The Niagara Falls Day Tour picks up here at 7:30 am. From CA$99 per person; the CA$159 package includes skip-the-line boat tickets. Since this is our earliest stop, you get first pick of the coach seats. Groups can also arrange a private tour from anywhere in Yorkville or the Annex.

Prefer to see the falls illuminated at night? The Day and Evening Tour does not stop here, but the nearest evening pickup is the Courtyard by Marriott at 475 Yonge St, departing 1:05 pm in summer (May 8 to October 15) or 12:00 pm in winter and returning about 11:00 pm.

A little history: the museum at your pickup

The Royal Ontario Museum has anchored Queens Park since 1914 and is Canada's largest museum, home to 13 million objects from dinosaur skeletons to the Ming tomb. The angular glass Crystal that erupts from the original heritage facade, added in 2007, remains Toronto's most argued-about piece of architecture. The museum opens at 10:00 am, so an after-tour visit works better than before.

There is no luggage storage on the coach, so travel light. If you are checking out that morning, leave your bags with your hotel's bell desk or a downtown luggage service and collect them after drop-off.

The day tour departs at 7:30 am and returns around 5:00 to 5:30 pm. This stop is day tour only; for the evening tour, the nearest departure is Chelsea Hotel at 1:10 pm in summer or 12:05 pm in winter.
